I really don’t want Joe Biden to run.

I don’t think she has any interest in running again.

Honestly? Me too. If she couldn't win in 2016, she never will again.

She won the popular vote. The jury is still out on if the election was legitimate. It has been verified that the Russians did interfere, we just haven't been told to what extent.

The AG of Wisconsin admitted that they used voter suppression to rig the vote against her and that was one of the three states that gave the election to Trump.

Yes but we have courts now that are actively holding up voter suppression as legally okay. Russia is still unchecked. Social media is still spreading and promoting bs that people eat up. I don't trust she'll actually be able to take the presidency now.

I understand all that. My problem is saying "if she couldn't win in 2016"--everything in the world was stacked against her and she still won the popular vote. She couldn't win because they literally cheated every way possible to keep her from taking the office.

I totally agree. Someone who is way more Left than Clinton (who's a war criminal just like her spouse), but Harris supports the existence of ICE and Warren, I'm not so sure about. Either way, the Dems aren't gonna let someone too radical get in the race.

There's a great clip of Sarah Silverman on I Love You, America talking to some political analyst about what it would take for a Democrat candidate to win against Trump in 2020 and the analyst said while it's tempting to run an aggressive Trump-esque personality for them, the Dems would be better off running a personality who's the complete opposite of Trump's open buffoonery. I thought that was an interesting take.

Not a Trump-esque personality.

But we do need someone who has big ideas and can communicate them effectively and inspire them.

ITA. I'd almost say we need another Obama-type communicator.

Hillary would be a terrible idea for 2020. But I think she knows that.

NO @ Biden. We need someone fresher and more progressive.
