I really hated most of the movie, it really was all about developing Jackson/Bradley and male centric stories are never my cup of tea. But the more I think about it, the more I like it as a remake in retrospect putting the important scenes together from memory.

Whatever you think of the movie, you can't deny that the Shallow and I'll Never Love Again performances are among the best musical film moments in history.

The movie itself is super male dominated. All of her family, friends and management are men. It turned me off a bit tbh.

The thing that is so fantastic is after all the shit that was Joanne and everyone writing her off- this is the BIGGEST comeback of the decade!

She is at the mother-fucking TTOP right now- and totally deserved.

I didn’t expect to be so into the soundtrack. Been listening to Why Did You Do That, Hair Body Face and Before I Cry non stop since the soundtrack came out.
