Doremus is a creep and a voyeur who makes bad films. On one of his films he tried to cheat the costume designer out of her credit and instead listed his girlfriend as the costumer.

I don't know why any actor would want to work with him and I have no idea how he keeps getting funding for his boring, junky movies.

He's been coasting off the good will of Like Crazy. I've never heard good things about a single other movie of his.

I know, and that was from 2011. He hasn't done anything good since then, and his movies lose so much money. Equals lost $28 million. That's not like making some little indie for $10 mil or less. That's real money. Plus he's just such an unethical, sleazy human being.

The only reason I came into this post was to comment (if no else had) that Doremus has to be among the worst indie directors to emerge in the last decade. Actually talented female directors whose films get great reviews/awards and/or make at least a small profit frequently have to wait 5-10 years to get funding for new features, but this guy continually fails and is supported.

Miss Vadge sunner looks 12 and is in her early 20s which is fine. But her playing someone in their 30s is not.

Idk if it will ever happen but get it together casting agents and producers. There are lots of over 30 actresses who have the timing for a romantic comedy

Still a big difference between 26 and 33 or even 36 which would have put an actress super close to the age of her costars and the fact that when you are north of 30 your career is almost over and north of 30 is when society tells you that you are over the hill and unfuckable if you aren’t, the point stands they could have and should have hired someone older than her
