Clara McGregor Discusses Her Father, Ewan McGregor's, Affair With Mary Elizabeth Winstead
Ewan McGregor's daughter Clara has opened up about his affair with Mary Elizabeth Winstead, who is over 20 years 14 years younger than him.
Ewan was apparently 46 and Eve was 51 when he cheated with MEW, who was 32. Eve had had Mary Elizabeth over for dinner as a guest, while Ewan was cheating with her.
After Ewan cheated on his wife, Eve Mavrakis, with Mary Elizabeth, Clara went on Instagram and called MEW "a piece of trash." Now, she says that she was merely angry when she wrote it.
"I kept being tagged in this photograph and I was seeing negative things about my mom... I said how I felt and I didn't want to apologize for it. It wasn't the right way to go about things..."
She does not apologize, but admits that it was not her "finest moment."
"It wasn't the most mature way to go about things, but I was angry and upset... There had been a lot building up to it and a lot to deal with -- not to make excuses or anything -- but, yeah, it wasn't my finest moment."
The paparazzi pictures of Ewan kissing MEW surfaced ON EWAN'S DAUGHTER'S BIRTHDAY.
"It was incredibly surprising to me that they had gone out in public. The picture surfaced on my little sister's birthday."
She puts equal blame on both Mary Elizabeth and Ewan.
"I'd say they were both to blame."
