I’m just glad Game of Thrones is not here to win everything with their overrated shit.

The last two seasons of Game of Thrones has been much more tolerable than past seasons. Sure we had the Cersei/Jamie tryst and incest of Dany/Jon but in past seasons Rapes were practically in every episode as were the incest storylines/scenes.

I've actually been able to see the story progress in the show.

GoT deserves cinematography and directing awards imo and all the technical ones lbr, but them winning best drama and especially best writing (the bad pussy line for God's sake) is such a joke

I was so sick of rape (and male gaze rape at that), that I didn't even really care that Dany/Jon was incest. It was so nice seeing a consensual sex scene.

i also hate when ppl vote based on intangibles like "he's already been honored" or "they deserve more career recognition" (hasn't danson won a bunch?) even tho i know it's inevitable.

It all depends on campaigning and BBCA knows how to, they already won one with Tatiana so let's wait, I've been really invested on this race and a lot of sites say that even if Moss is the front runner, Sandra has a good chance because her win will be historical, this ballots imo are not an indicator of who is going to win, there are like 23.000 voters and according to them then Tatiana would win but she is like the last in the predictions lol

The costumes have been bad for a while, too. In the beginning they looked like they were normal clothes from alien cultures with their own fashion trends, and now everyone looks like they're wearing a costume. It's gotten so incredibly literal. To show how tough and serious you are, you have to wear bits of metal and shiny stuff and everything is black. All the subtlety is gone, and nobody looks like the culture they come from anymore.

The only detail I've liked in the latter seasons is the King's Landing noblewomen wearing short hair and black dresses like Cersei. Unfortunately all the other female characters have developed in the exact same direction, minus the hair.

honestly these anonymous emmy ballots (and oscar ballots) just go to show how arbitrary everything is when people are voting because "X needs more career recognition," or "Y already has had enough career recognition," or "I don't know I just really like Z." also the whole emmy tape submission process is likely useless now in the age of streaming.

i'm also glad no one seems to be voting for elisabeth moss. the handmaid's tale s2 was really messy.
