hmm

this one is a prequel, so technically anything that happened in RDR hasn't happened yet

contextually, i think there are narratives and background information that is important to know, but i'm sure you'll be fine with all the gameplay even if you haven't played the first one (and you could probably just read a good synopsis to inform yourself tbh)

for xbox one users RDR is like $10 for a digital download, so i would suggest playing if you have time

either way, this is my favorite game ever and i would highly recommend for anyone to get into it

i'm stoked for tomb raider, it was looking direct-to-VHS levels of rough a couple of months ago but the more recent videos look great

I guess it depends on what you didn't like about them.

I loved grand theft auto but couldn't get into the first game, something about it just didn't keep me interested. I got into Mexico and then bounced. I watched my husband play through it all, though.
This is one of my husband's favorite games, and he's enjoyed the gta games too for what that's worth.
The game play style is very similar, as to be expected. You have missions, side quests, all that kind of stuff.

my #1 issue is when i'm doing crimes in GTA/skyrim/ass creed/jet grind radio and then suddenly i'm in a police chase. stupid ass mechanic to put in games centered around stealing and killing or spraying grafitti imho.

can i break the law in this game and not have to go on the lam??

Finally! I mean I haven't played it but damn it kept getting pushed back like the South Park game so it better be perfect.
