The OC debuted on Fox on August 5, 2003. It lasted until 2007 and gave us Laguna Beach: The Real Orange County, as well as all the Real Housewives of X City shows

To answer my own question, I was in high school and my friends and I went nuts the day after the season 2 finale. Also MMMM Whatcha Say will forever remind me of Trey being shot. I still get chills rewatching that.
