She mentioned in her book that it was really hard and hurtful so she's never talked about it. People always assume he cheated but he's also been open about his struggles with addiction re: alcohol and has had a recent relapse I believe as well.

He's plays a lot of assholes in films/TV so it's hard to separate that from the actor sometimes I think. He seems okay to me as a person though, he's definitely interesting to listen to in this video.
