Forgetting Sarah Marshall is special to me bc when I saw it was being filmed, I kept asking my boyfriend to see it with me. He promised we would see it.

We broke up, I was depressed for months.

Movie came out, I kept asking a bunch of people to go see it with me and nobody wanted to. I finally convinced a friend and the movie hit so close to home and it stayed with me for years haha

In retrospect, I should have seen the movie alone but I wasn't so independent back then 😒
