Does Pompeii count as a disaster film? I saw it for the first time the other day and I got really invested in it. Then I felt guilty, since it's loosely based on an actual tragedy.

I'm bitter over missing the Pompeii exhibit at the science center. I dreamed of being a metrologist when I was a kid and it was the closest thing to experiencing something I turned down because of math.

I lovvvve disaster movies. They're just good, silly action films. Armageddon, 2012, Day After Tomorrow, San Andres. They're all reminiscent of that fun 90s action film, no matter when they were made.
