Just saw the movie and Lily James really surprised me. I was confused at first on her Donna casting but I thought she did really well. All the flashback characters did amazing in copying their older counterparts

The whole movie was as campy and cringey as I expected and the cast knows it, but that makes it fun.

brosnan was fucking awful but he only had one "song" which wasn't really sung anyway other than that the only thing any of the dads sung was the "supa pa troupa pa" bits in super trouper

Meryl on the other hand sang in 2 songs and sounded rather lovely this time (though she sings with Cher in one scene where her lack of ability is very obvious)

Saw it last night and loved it, thought all of the women were amazing in it, really impressed with the young versions of the characters.
