In the minority, but I thought this movie was so overrated. That being said Heath's performance was top notch. I don't think anyone's portrayal of the Joker will top his. Sorry, Jared.

The scenes I liked, I really liked. But meh. Everyone was raving about it and it did very little for me.

I really didn't like any of it. This review just about sums it up for me:

It's jam-packed with flawlessly designed set-pieces and skullduggery, sure, but it's also shrouded in grim portent, overlaid with a filigree of despair, and, for good measure, covered in a patina of dire consequence.

and :"it confuses pompousness with seriousness and popular mechanics for drama." Just overblown, overdone, and ultimately depressing.

Still one of the only movies I've seen in theaters twice. The second time I timed my pee break perfectly lol (I waited until after the Joker blew up the hospital).
