Scarlett Johansson Responds to Backlash Over Her Latest Role

Earlier it was reported that Scarlett Johansson has reteamed with her Ghost In The Shell director Rupert Sanders to make a biopic about a trans massage parlor kingpin Dante “Tex” Gill. After being met with widespread criticism online for accepting the role Bustle Magazine reached out to her reps. She gave the following completely wild response:
“Tell them that they can be directed to Jeffrey Tambor, Jared Leto, and Felicity Huffman's reps for comment.”
Johansson’s response is in reference to other actors who have played trans roles to award winning acclaim (Jared Leto in Dallas Buyers Club, Felicity Huffman in Trans America, and Jeffrey Tambor in Transparent.
