I don’t know about the ACLU, weren’t they also defending those Neo-Nazis?

the ACLU is represented by a shit ton of chapters across the US and i know a few of them are def centrist idiots who think everyone deserves free speech, including neo-nazis

the aclu defends all kinds of shitty people/organizations in cases where their constitutional rights are being infringed upon. you don't have to love all of their clients but their mission statement is constitutional rights, so i don't think it makes them a bad or less worthwhile organization. itwould be like saying you wouldn't donate to support a public defender because they defend rapists/murderers, etc.

Actually that’s exactly what I’m saying. I don’t want to support Neo-Nazis in any way and I don’t agree with ACLU making it a free-speech issue. The argument of public defender falls apart when it’s made on behalf of hate speech.

Not going to lie, Edward Norton has been one of my lifelong crushes. I hate that because a guy that I really, really was head over heels looked and still looks and sounds like the younger version of him.

That picture is killing me. It reminds me of those ugly manpics Just Jared or Popteen would use.

don't know if i'm conformable supporting them since I found their understanding of the concept of free speech is so ridiculous and literally against their role as constitutional arbiters.

defending nazis from the government action is at least consistent if, imo, also morally abhorrent. but suggesting that private corporations have to tolerate nazis and pedophiles????? what the fuck. that doesn't even make sense with their own philosophy.

I can buy Radiohead still being a draw for people and/or a two night trip to NY with a travel stipend, but Edward Norton? And I say that as someone who enjoys his work.
