Thank God Kala didn't die, I was legit worried there for a minute.
I'm screaming at ending the annoying love triangle with a poly relationship. I was like 'ok, Kala is just going to enjoy both worlds' but nope, we got Wolfgang/Rajan and I'm dead. I love this show.
I loved all the action, I loved the happy ending. I loved that all the supporting characters came back, I loved the wedding, loved Mun and him meeting Sun's 'family'.
LMAO at them ending with that orgy and that lubed up dildo, just like they started the show.
I'm really happy and satisfied with this ending.
The end credits with the cast and crew got me emotional too.
I love that the Wachowskis are all about subverting tropes. For all its flaws, Sense8 had a fantastic ending.
[Spoiler (click to open)]Also, I was like, "Are they really gonna kill Kala?! T_T I mean, they can do it, now that the show's ending and Kala had been backed into a corner romantically, but... I want them to all live happily ever after..." Then "PHEW, fuuuuuck! Bitch, she just saved ha own damn life!" lol
I love the Wachowskis (and J. Michael Straczynski) for subverting tropes and surprising me. The show is not perfect, but it's so earnest, I can't help but love it. And the ending was really great.
[Spoiler (click to open)] I kept going 'nah, they're not gonna kill her, they're gonna give everyone happy endings', then 'omg, what if they kill her to show what a death in a cluster does? That's one way out of a love triangle' back and forth. I was so happy when badass Kala saved her damn self, with Rajan's improvisation.
I am admittedly a little misty on some details from the first two seasons, I was trying to rewatch before the finale but I will still continue my rewatch. This show was a lovely mess that I loved every minute of and will miss.
[Spoiler (click to open)]I think they did a pretty great job wrapping things up, clearly there were things that were skipped over and hurried due to time constraints. I do think Capheus took the biggest back burner of the cluster, little bitter none of his non-cluster friends/family got to join in the fray

[Spoiler (click to open)]This show really was a lovely mess and i was so earnest, it could sell the corny stuff, most of the time. As much as I wish we at least got 8 episodes to wrap things up properly, this was better than nothing and did everything it could with it

ia with about everything you said, if this were a normal episode i'd be irked by the rush but since they're wrapping up maybe three seasons' worth of plot lines into 2.5 hours i'm not bothered. i'd rather have them gloss over those kind of details than on fun group moments like listening to depeche mode, dancing and having sex.

I'M STILL EMOTIONAL!
they could've ended with the wedding though, there was no need for the final scene to be a lubed up dildo
