I am gonna miss this show so much. I know all the characters are weird and not even vaguely close to how normal people act but I love them in all their craziness. I love that they made Nick grow up a bit over the series but still kept him as a complete weirdo lmao.

Although I do not buy that Schmidt wouldn't care about leaving the loft. I loved the ending though and how they worked True American in though. My favourite TA scene will always be when Russell was dating Jess and he didn't understand the rules.

I love that Nick became an YA author lol and I love that he told jess he wanted them to have a weird wonderful life together. it was perfect!

I love that true american as well. and I loved the flash foward showing they are still clearly co-dependent lol

This last season and last episode were honestly, dare I say it, perfect. I've never been this satisfied and nostalgic for a show that just ended before in my life. The flash forward especially got me teary-eyed. I'm gonna miss this sweet lil show!!

I agree! they even got the ruth casting right. they gave us everything we could want and didnt try to fuck with us lol forever thankful.

and I love how much the cast actually wanted the final season and how much they like each other. they were all posting nice things on their instas and I was crying

Ruth was perfect. Normally that's pretty impossible to find, usually the kid is insufferable and can't act, which of course isn't actually their fault, yet Ruth??? Perfect. I couldn't have asked for a better final season.

After all the awful finales other shows have given us I thought that was great. New Girl always made me smile and I will miss the characters.
