might cut back on people buying a bunch and reselling them within 5 mins, but idk how all of that works.

Yup that's exactly what they hope to achieve with this

it won't stop scalpers lol
they just pay people to stand in line

Seriously. Scalpers already scalp at venues at 10am every Friday to not have to pay Ticketmaster fees. Just make every ticket credit card entry only if they want to be extra.

Glad I'm not a huge fan or I'd be bummed. I live hours from the nearest venues and there's no way I could make an hours long trip just to ensure I got a ticket. Can't think of anyone I'd do that for. If I lived by a venue, maybe idk

this is me. if i want to go to a concert, I have to drive like 12 hours to get there. i've done it before and it can be an awesome experience, but there is no way i'd ever be able to stand in line like that just to get one and the only artists i'd even consider doing it for, they're all dead lmao.

yeah, I can understand reasons not to sell online but it's a dick move toward the fans that don't live right by the venue

Trent, the majority of your fans are middle-aged adults. We have responsibilities. Some of us have children. Most of us have jobs. Lining up for tickets at a Ticketmaster Booth or Box Office was fine when we were teenagers 20 years ago. Now? It's an inconvenience. We are old and tired, and standing in line for 8hrs to get tickets to a show sounds like the worst way to spend a Saturday.

I appreciate that bands are getting savvy to avoid the ticket scalpers but, Trent, please
