I dunno, I think Joe walking away from the tech world completely at the end was a good decision. S4 Joe was better than 1-3.

I'm late to this post but fuck it, lol. Yeah Nancy's tattoo seemed so random but I guess it was an ~impulsive decision, lmao. Honestly compared to the other shit she did in season 7 (and 99% of the show as a whole - seriously, her ignoring all of Shane's issues was a big bag of WTF), her letting Silas work for Heylia for a while seemed decent. And of course he agreed to do it since he was still pissed at her so I can't blame him for wanting to put distance between them for a bit.

I'd say Dexter opting not to kill that stupid Swedish guy who ultimately went on to (indirectly) MURDER DEB was worse -- he spent a million episodes plotting to kill him and then decided at the last second that he "didn't want to" anymore bc he'd be ~cured by Hannah. My god, that final season was infuriating.

Jimmy Darmody was a world-class bad decision-maker too. Way to get your wife killed! Way to then 'nobly' go to your own unnecessary death and abandon your kid! Way to sign up for WWI bc you somewhat regretted banging your mom! I mean ...

Dexter being "cured" by Hannah was one of the dumbest things I've seen. It made no sense and it came outta nowhere. Also Deb being in love with him and Deb shooting Laguerta. WTF were they thinking

It honestly felt like that show pulled a Gilmore Girls and was taken over in its final season by people who didn't understand or even like it. They just threw the Dark Passenger thing out the window and basically pretended Rita never existed or had any emotional effect on Dexter, and then he was just ~over being a killer. Even though the entire interesting conceit of the show is his struggle to balance his urges with everyday life. And also he's still enough of a dick to STEAL DEB'S BODY. I AM STILL NOT OVER THAT afnasjkfashafh

It's upsetting how quickly and how easily they tossed Rita aside, and then basically allowed him to abandon his duties as a father by just writing the kids out.

barba killing that baby in SVU. though i refuse to accept that it was barba's actual decision, it was the writers sucking major ass at their job.

i don't know but if he did, i respect that, but the writers could have given him a better exit imo

The entire last season of Dexter was a dumb decision.

That Shameless episode was so anxiety-inducing too.
