BRMC is a pretty impressive opener.

I've picked up on some pretty cool bands by going early for openers. I had never heard of the Kaiser Chiefs before I saw them open for Weezer and the Foo Fighters, but they won me over. Then I saw Walk the Moon open for the Kaiser Chiefs in 2012, so that was like opening band love inception or something.

I almost always check out the opening act, because I've seen some truly awesome stuff I may not have found on my own if I'd missed getting there in time.

What do you know about EMA? I can’t seem to find her on Spotify but what I’ve seen from 30 seconds of YouTube, I don’t hate it.

I know she's an artist as well as a musicians, uses a lot of multimedia (screens, video,etc) in her work. If she does all that it should me an interesting opener.

Screens and videos eh? That’s right up DM’s alley tbh. The first leg of the tour had videos for every song. They don’t just rely on a fancy laser show like some bands.

I’d see BRMC again w DM (who I‘ve never seen live). I need to try to win tix, bc I wouldn't pay whatever they’re gonna charge in L.A. (too much, probably).

I’d say wait for resale tickets to get cheap but idk what the market for those is like in LA since I’m not from there. Are any cheaper tickets still available?

The cheapest ones @ face value is what I might pay, but that is without all of the Ticketmaster BS add on charges. Plus, I wouldn't want to see them in a huge stadium and sit at the very back. I might look into StubHub closer to the date (near the end of this month). I wound up getting amazing seats for Blur on StubHub the day of the show and the price was super duper reasonable.

Yeah, I’ve sat at the back with other shows and even with glasses on, I still couldn’t see shit.

DM was probably the best concert of my life so if you’re gonna pay to sit closer, it’s definitely worth it.
