I saw Alien on film, big screen and it transformed it. Seeing Giger's designs like they were meant to be experienced was like watching a whole other movie. I GOT it in a completely new way. It was a back to back screening with Aliens and I mean Aliens on the big screen was just oh, cool, Aliens but Alien was monumental.

If aliens landed on earth the book i'd give them like a super nice complete james bond because that's a very good gift imo and they might take me with them

i'm actually not sure what book i would pick. maybe The Philosopher and The Wolf.

I know what you mean about watching Alien on the big screen. In college there was a re-release of Alien and it played at my campus theater. I had already seen the film but watching it in the theater was a new experience. It was terrifying (plus I was alone lol). definitely made me appreciate the film a lot more.

yeah i felt like i really got a understanding why like everyone who were young when it came out are traumatised/nerdified by that movie
