Part of what makes doing these posts harder than you'd think is because so many sites either lie about when movies are being released or have incomplete lists. Ghost Stories is definitely showing in an LA theater this weekend, so that's a good sign!

And yeah, ita re: Judy Greer. :/

Isabelle Huppert needs to stop doing 385637 mediocre films every year and focus on good scenarios in which she's challenged as an actress and doesn't the same kind of character over and over smh

Also OP- one of your previous post mentioned The Rider. I got to see it and liked it a lot! Great performances considering the cast aren't actors!

ITA about Isabelle having a largely mediocre filmography (as a fan of hers that doesn't want to sit thru three average films of her's each year) but I don't necessarily agree that she's re-playing characters in those films.

I really liked Ghost Stories, I think it'll appeal to horror fans who are very much aware of horror genre tropes bc of what the film does with them. The acting in the film was great too, esp that kid from Black Mirror. And I know ONTD hates Martin Freeman (with good reason) but he was also excellent. As well as the main actor/co-director, Andy Nyman.

Wish I had seen the play!

You Shall Not Sleep is showing at Tribeca this weekend, if it wasn't so late on saturday night I would love to go see it.

I've been able to rent Backstabbing for like two weeks on Direct TV...I remember when it was cast. Huh. I'd watch In the Last Days of The City.
