Mine is too. Aside from the eternal flop that is JT Hellstrom, apparently Thad was a producer for "La La Land" which, I guess, gives him some clout in Hollywood now. So that could be why she'd be reluctant to name an otherwise nobody.

He went back because he loves the people who works there, and bc of Amelia. And It was just a couple of months. I'm sure they wanted him to stay.
He co-owns a production company that had La La Land and other big movies.
He was also in 12 strong with Chris Hemsworth, and went on a press tour with him & Jerry Bruckheimer.

So yeah... he didn't NEED to come back to Y&R. Shame they totally trashed his character though. Doubt he would have come back if he had known that.
