Earlier this week, SnapChat removed an offensive ad which asked users whether they'd “rather slap Rihanna or punch Chris Brown?”

Snapchat deserves it for all the racist misogynist shit it has pulled over the years.

But also, stock markets have gone crazy, even in my country as well. Fundamentals don't even support the valuations

i'm reading up on the stock market because i want to start investing next year, and all the examples this one guy i'm reading brings up are either boring companies that do important and necessary jobs or new products like the ipod which strike gold and sell vast quantities. investing in shit like snapchat (and presumably selling again asap) seems like cowboy antics to me.

I don't use Snapchat. My understanding is the ad was for another app, yes? Is the app who created the ad dealing with the consequences too or are they getting away with it?

I don't think anyone even remembers what the app is but Snapchat was still the company that approved it so I understand why the focus is on them rather than the third party.
