i’m not ready for any of these remakes. :( i thought i read somewhere the italian cast were actually all actors before? definitely think that will take some of the magic away. but i don’t plan on trying any of them except maybe the american one (although it being texas still sucks).

Have you ever been to Austin? It's one of the greatest and accepting cities. It's motto is Keep Austin Weird and its a home to many cultures. I'm curious as to why you don't want it in Texas?

i might watch the french version, b/c i stopped practicing french 4 years ago. the italian cast is so basic compared to the french cast.

The only thing that gives me comfort for the US Version is that Julie is at the helm. What made the show so great was her intuition on casting, storylines, etc. Does anyone know if the stories are the EXACT same as the original or if it's mainly just the concept? I'm curious to see how Julie adapts her scripts to be more in tune with American culture.
