i changed my name when i got married even tho i didn't want to so i never got my passport or anything else legally changed. i got married in america, so when i moved back to canada after we got divorced i still had my maiden name on everything and just pretended it never happened. when i have to fill out forms and i says single, divorced, etc. i just check single. as far as this country is concerned that shit never happened
