I don't think her relationship with David had anything to do with them wanting to keep her around. Prior to when they were dating the official Facebook page seemed to adore Bitsie. I think everyone just loved her and wanted to still have her on the show, even if they couldn't figure out what do with Juliette and the fan hate to her didn't help
