I think as far as Fuller goes, he'll bring back familiar actors and whatnot which is always a treat =) He's worked with some fantastic people! I was happy to see Janice Poon still working with his projects as well :

I'm liking it so far. The editing and some of the CGI was kinda bad, but overall I'm into it. Also Ricky is such a babe.

Haha, yes it is =P Though I am looking forward to that aspect of it as well, ngl, that particular part of the story is one of my favorites in the book and I'm happy we'll be seeing this on screen. Especially anxious to see how it will play out in the long run as well!

i haven't read the book yet, but is this going to be an established, series-spanning relationship? i'm always 100% here for gay couples getting visibility and being able to show intimacy on screen.

Ah I think it'd be good not to be too spoiled with things, but I'll just say this : [Spoiler (click to open)]It's not series-spanning as such, it's more the encounter and meaning to Salim that really resonated with me =) However, the actor, Omid is contracted for next season iirc and Fuller and Gaiman has expressed that they'd like to explore and expand more stories on the show. I would definitely welcome them doing so for this character, especially if they change one particular part in the book.

Yeah, it's definitely one of his works that people either love or just couldn't finish it =) For me, I had always been into mythology and such and the premise really intrigued me. I think though, one can still enjoy the show and not have read or finished the book, so hopefully the show has something that works for you at least =)
