He's a horrible leader, and compared to the other people on the show he's really bland. Yeah, because everyone else is a cartoon character. I've been annoyed by Rick's choices, but the first episode I ever hated was the first one that Rick wasn't in.

I never finished Gossip Girl but I still hate to this day how Chuck is never bashed. His character was so gross.

I still can't believe there are people who still don't believe he raped anyone and are in denial. It's fine if you like the character, and all the characters on TVD are horrible and murderers anyway. The fact that the show never said he raped anyone and Caroline only said that he abused her has always just rubbed me the wrong way. I have no problem with the characters being problematic on a show like that, but they need to deal with it in the narrative and call them out on it.

Katherine is also a rapist and they never stated that in the dialogue either, they just showed that she raped Stefan in a flashback. I can acknowledge that about her character and still like her character.
