-Pete was found wandering the streets and when taken to a vet and scanned the microchip linked back to Faris
-Faris signed a contract stating she would not re-home the dog without notifying the LA-based shelter she adopted from: Kinder4Rescue
-Faris could face up to a $5,000 fine for breaking the contract, but it's still unclear if they had re-homed the dog
-Faris and her husband, Chris Pratt, have been made aware of the situation and want to bring Pete back home
