some of the visuals here look rlly nice but affleck should stop casting himself as lead in his movies tbh.

but also i'm hoping that so many of the big potential oscar december releases that no one has rlly seen yet (this, that movie gold with mcconaughey, scorcese's silence) flop cause the more of them do the more chances of moonlight getting deservedly recognized and nominated.

i love ben starring in his movies, the few acceptions i would allow would be casey cuz gone baby gone was boss, or matt damon, or because i saw a flash of him in the trailer, i think chris messina could definitely lead a ben affleck movie.

I think he has the potential to be a fine actor, but being a fan of the book series, I DO NOT see him suiting this role in its original spirit :/
