I read it about 4-5 years ago and remember really liking it. It was darker and more dramatic than I was expecting by the chick lit cover.

I was watching a marathon of Law & Order: Criminal Intent and she randomly showed up as a corrupt police officer. It was really cool to see her. She's such a powerhouse of an actor and her performance was great.
