I've read all these books but honestly I don't really enjoy them. There's always 59 million red herrings then strike says he's solved it at the end but they spend 30 more pages actually getting to the reveal. Ugh

i love these books so much and i find him incredibly attractive (i saw him once in person at a train station and was struck a bit dumb) but honestly he is not who i imagined in the slightest. i really wanted someone like rory mccann, very unconventional and massive but still attractive. he does kind of have that brutal handsomeness that is needed, and he is a good actor in what i've seen RIP THE HOUR so i'm cautiously optimistic

I enjoyed the first one, was meh on the second one and disliked the third book. I'll keep reading though. Still, I don't have a real picture in my head for Strike, but I guess if they curl this guy's hair it will work?
