I am listening to them rn so this post was timely. I remember being obsessed with Bloc Party's A Weekend in the City. Especially since I wondered what direction they'd go after Silent Alarm got so much praise. I know some fans didn't like it but idc. Don't like them now since the original band is half gone but I still love them.

Also loved Sophomore albums like Late Registration, Coexist, The Bends, Crazy Sexy Cool. Probably a million others I can't think of rn.

There was a great Skins Gen 2 vid set to this song that got f'd up and now doesn't play correctly on YouTube and I've never gotten over it.

uh sis Silent Alarm is their superior album by far.

but a weekend in the city is still pretty great.
