Nah, I feel. It's just a shitty thing to say. I think it all resolves around this idea of having a one and only that puts pressure on relationships lasting forever. I told my friend it's okay if you think you may still end up together but that doesn't mean to stay together because you're making each other miserable (for whatever reason, theirs was long distance - different continents).
