Well, he had that MTV show (or still has it?) and I'm sure his YT partnership is bringing in a decent amount of income. I remember years ago he released a video calling out haters and explaining to them that every dime he makes goes into his productions. He gave us a tour of his tiny apartment where he was sleeping on a mattress on the floor and didn't have any food in the fridge. He then proceeded to publicly release his cell phone number in the video so that if any haters had anything to say to him, they didn't have to write it in the comments section

He also got in trouble for not delivering on a kickstarter he did for a production. He never released it/didn't refund.

In the description for this video, he says he lost his manager and MTV show which inspired him to write this album.

I believe that stuff about a quick turnaround because he got all the finalists from RuPaul which is like only a month or two ago and also he has stuff about Orlando in this video. I can't imagine the workload for something like this, especially if you are jamming it out extremely fast.
