I mean, look at this announcement and the phrasing. It's just really trying too hard and it's clearly just a ruse to cover up Max and Nev's relationship and give the show promo.

If you watch Catfish, the way Max and Nev interact makes it obvious that they are together. But because Max is married and America is still so closed minded they need to cover it up. It's really stupid and transparent. I can't believe they'd really go this far, but here it is.

The truth will come out soon.
