I am so disappointed in the governor and legislature of North Carolina. Overturn #HB2. #translivesmatter

Stay strong. This law is clearly unconstitutional and will not survive a court challenge. Let's let this mobilize us https://t.co/OrO1mZcAg5

I'm so sorry to everyone living in North Carolina. Your government sucks.

Other companies here have spoken out against it. This shit is ridiculous and I'm so tired of the stupid arguments people make to defend this shit.

I fucking hate Pat McCrory. Back before I got my "big girl job" and was banquet serving I worked a private event of his and omfg I wanted to die from all these stuck up ass Republicans. Literally the whole night was spent with their bullshit speeches spewing their bullshit rhetoric and making Obama jokes/swipes. It was so fucking pedestrian. I'm so sad by how badly NC has regressed in the past 8 years =/

the past 8 years were literally the first time since reconstruction that there's been a republican governor and republican majority in both houses of the state legislature and it's so telling how much the state has managed to go to shit because of it. just thinking about how they've manage to fuck over everyone that isn't a straight white christian man is unreal

Yup. NC used to be so progressive. I moved here in my later teen years and am so sad that I ended up getting stuck with these bullshit years. Soooo much has gone to shit. I went to school in Raleigh so being up close and personal to it was even worse.

i was in nc for high school and college (at unc lol) and it's also depressing how the republicans are trying to fuck up the decent public university system that north carolina has. there was a reason why so many ppl would stay in state for school, because the programs were great and tuition in-state was so much cheaper than other places. lolol i could go on forever about how pissed i am about everything going on in nc rn

The fact that the governor has referred to trans women as "men" multiple times is extremely telling

I'm wondering if this law could be declared unconstitutional though especially after Obergefell and now that the EEOC is treating LGBT discrimination as sex discrimination under title VII
