I think it's More-fith.

At least I believe that's how the "dd" in Welsh goes.

it can't possibly be worse than Kate Beckinsale's last attempt at Austen. her version of Emma feels more like a horror movie lmfao

It's bad!? I didn't see that, but I loved her as Hero. Fuck, well hopefully this will be better.

Did you see Romola's Emma? Is that any good?

Not OC, but Romola's Emma was lovely!
That's actually where her icon is from.

I'll watch the hell out of this, I am an Austen stan forever

fave film adaptation is 2009 Emma, followed closely by 1995 Pride & Prejudice

fave book is a tie between Persuasion and Emma.

I'm still waiting for my perfect Persuasion adaptation. SOMEDAY

also I recently watched Pride & Prejudice & Zombies and it was ridiculous fun. Like I didn't expect it to be high art or totally faithful to the book but it was loads of fun and ridiculousness, which is what I wanted.

I think I like every adaptation except the Lost in Austen mini-series which I despise with all my heart (just because she got in the middle of Lizzy and Darcy -.-)

have you seen belle with gugu mbatha-raw?

So good! I like that they addressed the issue of race without making it the ONLY THING that drives the story.

Gugu is such a good romantic lead (also considering Beyond the Lights). She needs to be in more good movies like this, Nicholas Sparks is slowly killing the genre.
