The first book started off slow and then went 0-60 in one chapter and hooked me right through.
I just finished the 2nd and I absolutely love it.
Waiting for the 3rd to come on paperback.

The casting of this film is on point and Tim Burton is directing it...so far no word of Johnny Depp which means this will be amazing.

Looks interesting to me. I enjoy the cliché Burton look, ngl.

Was this book good?

My book challenge stalled after book 6. I gotta get back on it.

It's a pretty solid series with a satisfying conclusion. Unlike some other YA trilogies. Pure, by Julianna Baggot, I'm looking at you..

I've been really curious about these books based off the cover. They look well creepy

I was confused for a sec bc I was like oh hey Asa and Eva in something again! Then realized oh wait they were in different Merlin/King Arthur shows. Very different lol

i didn't mind the first one...i know it was a little disappointing it wasn't super creepy like the pics made it seem like it would be, but it still entertained me. i have the second one but haven't read it yet.

i was on a roll with reading because i bought a kindle for myself for christmas and it seemed to make me fly through books. i think i read 7 books in january and february...that's flying through books for me, lol. i usually only get to around 7 or 8 books in an entire year! but now i've hit a standstill and haven't read anything in a week. gotta start again, don't want to get in a rut!

anyone have any good non-fiction recs? something that will really pull me in. maybe i'll go check out some of mary roach's other stuff, i really liked stiff.
