[Giles is just coming out of the bakery with a bag of sweets for Helios when he meets Tammy racing the other way.

Several very complicated seconds follow, seconds that end with several cookies scattered around and Giles sitting on the ground, trying to protect the rest from the Chocobo. Tammy, for her part, is taking the opportunity to chew happily on his hair.]

[Tatsu is relieved to see Tammy finally stopped, right up until the point that he sees the poor man being victimized. The temptation to drop to his knees is high, but Tatsunosuke ignores it and the pain in his stomach to rush to Tammy's side.]

Finally! Sir, I'm so sorry for any damage that this creature has caused. [Which is plenty, given the cookies scattered on the ground. With one hand on the back of Tammy's neck, Tatsunosuke bows low.] Please forgive us both.

[Giles finally risks opening an eye when he feels the gnawing on his hair stop and hears Tatsu dragging Tammy away. His voice is cautious when he finally does speak.]

No harm done. [Then he notices the cookies scattered around, and sighs tiredly.] No irrevocable harm done. [He straightens up, and even makes to pat Tammy on the head.]

...troublesome bird. You're both forgiven. Well, you're forgiven. Tammy once again has my heartfelt wishes for her safety.

[Well, this is turning out to be kind of easy. Tatsunosuke puts a hand on the back of his neck, letting out a nervous laugh.] That's very kind of you.

[Tammy jerks forward again, but Tatsu grabs her quickly. Now that he's actually gotten hold of her, it isn't so bad. Not unlike corralling a certain younger brother.] Once again? So this isn't the first time you've met her, is it?

Or is that irrelevant because she's the only bird that big around here?

Oh, I see. Well, I don't know if she's the only one. But, she's taller than most of the men I know by a good bit. [Which hopefully is enough for height, since Tatsunosuke has no idea what those other birds are.] Oh, and she's yellow. And her beak is pointed.
