Kyuhyun threw his head back and groaned. He had been working on ways to confess to Ryeowook all night. Needless to say, he hadn't progressed much. Venting out his frustration with a silent scream, he carelessly stuffed the crumpled piece of paper under his pillow.

To his right, Ryeowook let out a whimper. Kyuhyun's eyes widened and he shot out of bed instantly. Hurrying to Ryeowook's side, his heart ached at the sight of his hyung squirming on his bed.

"No...Please! Someone, help me!" Ryeowook gasped, his eyes wrenched shut. Sweat trickled down his delicate features, highlighting how vulnerable he looked.

Kyuhyun grabbed Ryeowook's hand and gripped it firmly. Anxiously, he called out, "Ryeowook-hyung?"

Ryeowook continued to thrash about violently. He breathed in and out heavily, his chest rising and falling rapidly with every breath. Kyuhyun tightened his grip on Ryeowook's hand and brushed the latter's fringe, which was plastered to his forehead, away from his eyes. Kyuhyun brought their intertwined hands towards his lips and muttered a silent prayer.

"Wake up, hyung... Please, open your eyes," Kyuhyun begged helplessly. He felt so incapable right now. The man he loved was suffering and all he could was watch. Kyuhyun's lip trembled as he tried calling out again. "Ryeowook-hyung, please..."

The bed stopped creaking. Kyuhyun looked up slowly from his and Ryeowook's hands, afraid of what he might see. Ryeowook was still, eerily still. And then, to Kyuhyun's utmost relief, he blearily blinked his eyes open.

"Kyuhyun?" Ryeowook said warily, a dazed look on his face. "Am-am I safe now?"

Kyuhyun immediately pulled him in a tight hug. Ryeowook's arms slowly and shakily made their way around Kyuhyun's neck, bringing them even closer. He clutched onto Kyuhyun's shirt stiffly, not wanting to let go. Resting his head in the crook of Kyuhyun's neck, Ryeowook tried to calm his erratic breathing.

"Kyuhyun, promise me...promise me that you'll always be there for me." Ryeowook whispered.

"I promise, hyung," Kyuhyun said simply. "I promise."

-

Sungmin was the first one up in the bungalow. Extricating himself out of Yesung's hold (rather unwillingly), he got off the bed and began to stretch. He bent down and gave Yesung a quick peck on the lips.

"Sorry Jongwoon, but someone has to make breakfast," Sungmin mumbled apologetically. Yesung shifted slightly and grunted in response.

When Sungmin entered the kitchen, he was surprised to see Siwon at the dining table, reading the daily paper. Siwon raised his eyebrows and smiled in greeting.

"Good morning, hyung," Siwon greeted him calmly. "I'll be off for my morning jog soon."

Comprehension dawned on Sungmin when he remembered the younger's daily routine. Smiling slightly, he made his way towards the kitchen counter.

"Coffee, Siwonnie?" Sungmin called out as he reached for the tin of coffee powder.

"I'll have a cup when I come back. Thank you, hyung." Siwon put down the paper and folded it carefully. "You'll need to make Yesung-hyung's pot of coffee first, I suppose. Goodness, how he can consume such strong coffee, I'll never understand." Siwon shook his head bemusedly.

Sungmin laughed at his dongsaeng's comment. "I don't understand it either, Siwon. But he loves it and that's all I need to know."

A small smile tugged at Siwon's lips. "You really love Yesung-hyung." It was more of statement than anything.

Sungmin's face split into a wide smile. "You're right, Siwon; I really do."

-

Kibum was already awake but he didn't feel like getting up. Eunhyuk was nestled in his arms, head resting against his chest. Donghae's arms were wrapped around Eunhyuk's waist and his head was buried in the latter's hair. Kibum sighed contentedly. He could really stay like this foreve-

Kibum let out a grunt as he felt a sudden, sharp shove directed at his thigh. The force exerted on him was so strong that he tumbled backwards. Panicking, he fumbled for whatever that was within reach - in this case, it was the blanket. It was futile for he still slid off the bed, landing on his behind ungraciously with an "Oof!" The blanket followed, settling in a messy heap before him.

Kibum got up slowly, rubbing his sore behind. After picking up the blanket, he went over to the bed and tossed it over the still-sleeping duo. Donghae continued to snore softly while Eunhyuk murmured something unintelligible in his sleep.

Kibum chuckled silently as he watched Eunhyuk try in vain to reach out for him. (More like grabbing at thin air since Kibum was no longer in front of him.) Kibum decided he might as well make his way to the kitchen and make breakfast, or help make it since he was wide awake. Once at the door frame, he turned around and shot an amused smile in his hyungs' direction.

Honestly, Eunhyuk needs to get rid of that leg-kicking tendency of his. Kibum and his battered body had already suffered too much.

-

By 10am, most of the members had already rolled out of bed and were assembled in the living room, waiting for breakfast to be served. Sungmin had whipped up a big panful of sausages (he felt it was wise to avoid scrambled eggs), while Kibum buttered toast after toast till it amounted to a huge stack. Setting the plates onto the dining table, Kibum smiled in satisfaction at the spread and offered a high five to Sungmin, who returned it happily.

Sungmin set a mug of steaming coffee in front of Yesung, who was already seated at the table. Yesung tugged onto Sungmin's shirt sleeve and pulled the latter in for a chaste kiss. The two sprang apart when they heard a loud cough from behind them.

"You're lucky I haven't eaten breakfast. If I had, I would have chucked it all over you guys." Heechul tried to hide his smile but was unsuccessful.

Han Geng beamed. "I think it's cute." He reached over to ruffle Sungmin's hair fondly.

Leeteuk announced his arrival with a loud yawn. "Alright everyone, let's eat up and then get ready for our fishing trip!" When he sat down, his head automatically came into contact with the dining table. Everybody went on with eating; their leader falling asleep at the dining table was nothing out of the ordinary.

Donghae munched on his toast sleepily, resting his head on Eunhyuk's shoulder. Eunhyuk tried to poke a sausage with his fork. It fell out of his feeble grip with a clatter. Kibum poked the sausage and presented it in front of Eunhyuk's mouth, urging him to eat it. Eunhyuk chomped on it gratefully.

Siwon came back from his morning jog, looking good after a workout as only he could be. He settled himself next to Kangin and pulled the plate of toast towards him. Upon his arrival, Sungmin went to prepare a cup of coffee for him.

Kyuhyun appeared at the table sans Ryeowook; he had left his hyung in their room. Ryeowook had finally managed to go back to sleep after Kyuhyun's many reassuring words.

As if by instinct, Leeteuk's head immediately snapped up when Kyuhyun stepped into the dining room. Kyuhyun recoiled at the leader's freaky action. He made a face when he saw Leeteuk open his mouth, anticipating the lecture with dread.

"Finally, you're awake! Sungmin and Kibum have made extra for Ryeowook and you, so you don't need to burn the kitchen. We'll be back by sundown, so please try not to break anything. Also, if there's anything wrong, call me immediately! You know my number, right-"

"Yes, okay, we'll try, yes and of course," Kyuhyun rolled his eyes.

"Don't worry so much, Teukie-umma. We can take care of ourselves. We'll be fine." Kyuhyun's indifferent smile turned into a reassuring one, as he tried to placate Leeteuk.

Leeteuk brightened up at Kyuhyun's use of his nickname. He let out a nervous chuckle. "I'm sorry, I just can't help it. I keep forgetting that my babies are all grown up now."

"You're forgiven, hyung. You're so old, you can't help it anyway." Kyuhyun smirked and sauntered over to sit next to Han Geng.

"Yah! Cho Kyuhyun!"

-

Finally, at noon, the members left for their fishing trip. Kyuhyun waved goodbye as he watched them board a large motorboat. Inside his head, he was gleefully celebrating the fact that he had six whole hours alone with Ryeowook. After the boat had sailed away, he made his way back into the bungalow and collapsed on the lime-green sofa. He lazed on it, waiting for Ryeowook to come down for breakfast.

When Ryeowook did appear, he made his presence known with a cute yawn that ended with a whine. Scratching his back absentmindedly, Ryeowook made his way to the kitchen counter. Kyuhyun gaped at the thin boy's overwhelming cuteness. (Okay, and maybe Kyuhyun was kinda staring at his butt when he bent down to get a clean plate from the cupboard.) Ryeowook hummed softly as he washed his hands, bopping his head slightly.

How can Ryeowook-hyung be so cute...

Ryeowook turned around and looked at Kyuhyun questioningly. "I'm sorry Kyuhyun, did you say something?"

Shit, did I just really say that out loud? "No-nothing!" Kyuhyun stammered. "Just calling for you, hyung! Is there enough food for you?"

It was going to be a long day.

-

Meanwhile, on the motorboat where the rest of the members were at, fishing wasn't the only thing on their minds.

Leeteuk was sitting behind his fishing line, staring at the sea blankly. He was still worrying about the two maknaes.

"Hey," He felt a slight pressure around his arm and turned to see Kangin smiling at him.

Leeteuk sighed and leaned onto Kangin's arm. "I just can't help it, you know?"

Kangin chuckled. "I know."

Leeteuk closed his eyes and he waited for the fish to start biting.

-

Heechul really couldn't care less about fishing; finding out more about his dongsaengs' relationship was much more appealing. Heechul had tried cornering Yesung once in the dorm but the latter merely stared unblinkingly at him. Damn that poker face of his!

"Ask Sungmin." Yesung shrugged. He couldn't care less if Heechul knew all the details of their relationship; he just didn't want to be the one to tell him.

Heechul dragged Sungmin away from the rest of the members. Pushing him onto a deckchair, Heechul quickly settled himself onto the deckchair opposite Sungmin. Heechul whipped his fringe out of his eyes and looked at Sungmin expectantly.

"Okay. Spill. Tell Heechul-hyung everything about your relationship with Yesung. Don't skimp on the details."

Sungmin laughed at his hyung's eagerness. He leaned backwards and started. "It all began with the laundromat ruining my pajama shirts..."

-

Han Geng and Siwon were relaxing behind their fishing lines. The conversation that they were having was an odd one; Han Geng would speak to Siwon in halting Korean and Siwon would reply in accented Mandarin. This effectively bemused everyone else and they left the two alone. Donghae went over once and tried to talk to them, but the only Mandarin phrase he knew was "Wo shi ni de bao bei!"

He was obviously only Eunhyuk's bao bei, so he let the two be.

-

Eunhyuk hated fishing. Well, he hated seafood so he really didn't see the point in him coming.

That was then. Now, sandwiched between Donghae and Kibum, Eunhyuk finally saw the merits of fishing.

His boyfriends were clad in matching white wife-beaters. Kibum was showing off his toned biceps while Donghae sported a slight tan. Eunhyuk noted, with much interest, that Donghae seemed to be growing some muscle tone. Eunhyuk sighed contentedly as he secretly admired his boyfriends.

Maybe fishing wasn't so bad after all.

-

Shindong had been uncharacteristically quiet throughout the trip. Siwon, his roommate, had wanted to ask about his hyung's unusual behaviour but withheld from doing so. Being the gentleman that he was, he felt that it was appropriate if they talked about it privately in their room.

Shindong leaned onto the railing at the back of the motorboat, staring at the sky silently.

"Thought I might find you here," A husky voice woke him from his reverie. He turned around and saw Yesung giving him a small smile.

"...Hey hyung," Shindong replied awkwardly.

Yesung walked over next to Shindong. The both of them kept quiet, creating a slightly awkward atmosphere.

"Your friendship with Sungmin doesn't have to change because of me, you know." Yesung broke the silence.

Shindong turned to look at Yesung quizzically. "I'm sorry?"

"He won't stop hanging out with you just because he's with me, you know. Sungmin spending less time with you doesn't mean that you're any less important to him. You're still one of his best friends."

Before Shindong could formulate a response, Yesung continued. "I don't expect Sungmin to be permanently attached to my hip, but I also won't leave him alone like he's a cactus either."

Yesung clapped a hand on Shindong's shoulder and walked away, leaving the latter to mull over his words.

Shindong's eyes furrowed as he pondered about his conversation with Yesung. Other than his hyung's weird analogy (a cactus?), he understood what Yesung was trying to say.

Shindong shook his head and let out a chuckle. "Honestly Donghee; why did you even get all upset over this in the first place?"

-

Kyuhyun and Ryeowook were sitting on the shore, letting the waves lap at their feet. Kyuhyun was initially hesitant to bring Ryeowook out to the beach, but Ryeowook put his foot down and Kyuhyun being powerless, reluctantly complied with his hyung's request. They sat quietly, the only sounds being the waves crashing against the shore.

"Kyuhyun," Ryeowook titled his head at Kyuhyun. "Don't you find it sweet?"

"Huh?" Kyuhyun replied intelligibly. Did he miss something while he was basking in his hyung's presence?

Ryeowook sighed and threw his head back. "Yesung-hyung and Sungmin-hyung. I still can't believe they're together. It seems a little unreal sometimes."

Kyuhyun's eyes widened. "Hyung, did you knock your head on the rock when you fell into the water?"

Ryeowook laughed. "I didn't. I've just been thinking, you know? How something so ordinary as a T-shirt helped them get together... Wonderful, isn't it? Love really works in strange ways."

"I see what you mean." Kyuhyun shifted nervously, uncomfortable with the direction that the conversation was heading in.

Closing his eyes, Ryeowook let out a dreamy sigh. "I wonder if such a wonderful thing will happen to me."

Kyuhyun's hand was itching to touch Ryeowook's face. His mouth wanted to spill out so desperately how he really felt about Ryeowook. Kyuhyun knew that this was a perfect time to confess.

So why wasn't he doing anything?

The both of them jumped when the buzz of a cellphone punctured the silence. Fumbling in his jean pocket, Kyuhyun took out his phone and answered it hastily. "Hello?"

"Kyuhyun-ah!" Leeteuk's voice crackled from the receiver. "I hope Ryeowook and you are doing well by yourselves."

No, we aren't. "We're fine, hyung!" Kyuhyun tried to crack a smile even though he knew Leeteuk couldn't see it. "Are you on the way back?"

"We're about thirty minutes away from the bungalow, so see you soon!" Leeteuk said cheerily before hanging up.

Ryeowook's voice was distant. "Was that Leeteuk-hyung?"

Kyuhyun nodded. "Yeah. He said they'll be back soon."

Ryeowook looked around uncertainly before standing up. "I guess we should make our way back?"

Kyuhyun stood up slowly, brushing sand off his jeans. "Yeah, we should." He said awkwardly.

Avoiding each other's eyes, they walked back to the bungalow in total silence.

Kyuhyun wanted nothing more than to throw himself into the sea.

-

Kyuhyun was still in a foul mood when the rest of the members returned. He greeted them with his usual disinterested smile, hoping that everyone would be too distracted to notice his subdued behaviour.

While the rest of the members discussed the fishing trip animatedly during dinner, Kyuhyun ate in silence. When prompted by Han Geng, Kyuhyun merely replied "I'm tired." He was thankful that the Chinaman left it at that.

After dinner, Kyuhyun was accosted by Sungmin in the living room. Groaning slightly, Kyuhyun didn't bother hiding his irritation.

"What is it, hyung?" He scowled.

Sungmin looked slightly affronted. "I just wanted to ask if it was okay for me to talk to Ryeowook alone in your room. There's no need to get all pissy with me."

Kyuhyun raked his fingers through his hair. "You're right...I'm sorry. And yeah, you can go talk to him. I'll just go to your room and bother Yesung-hyung."

"Great!" Sungmin gave a small smile. "I promise it won't take long!"

-

Ryeowook looked expectantly at Sungmin, who was sitting cross-legged on Kyuhyun's bed. Scratching his earlobe, he tilted his head to the side and questioned, "Why do you want to talk to me, Sungmin-hyung?"

Sungmin played with Kyuhyun's bedsheets for a while, before looking up. "I'm here to talk about Kyuhyun and you."

Ryeowook was rather taken aback by his hyung's straightforwardness. "What about it?"

"Why are you playing with him? I know that you're aware of his feelings for you," asked Sungmin.

Ryeowook's forehead creased at the accusation. "I'm not playing with him!" He countered, his voice raising by a few decibels.

"Look, I don't mean to come across as accusing but I know his earlier behaviour was somehow caused by you."

The eternal maknae fell back onto his bed, and sighed heavily. "I didn't mean to make him mad or anything... I just wanted to know if he's serious about me. So, I gave him chances to confess."

Sungmin leaned forward, a puzzled look on his face. "How did you do that?" He asked.

"Whenever we were alone together, I just manipulated the situation in such a way that he could confess to me. I didn't know that it would affect him so much." Ryeowook ended sadly, biting his lip in worry.

"I see," Sungmin said simply.

"But you know," Sungmin spoke up. "Even if you're ready to hear Kyuhyun's confession, it doesn't mean that Kyuhyun himself is ready to confess to you. You can't rush these kind of things."

They sat in silence for a while. Then, Sungmin let out a huge sigh. "I'm sorry I was so harsh on you, Wookie-ah."

Ryeowook shook his head. "No, it's alright, hyung. You were just worried about Kyuhyun. I can't blame you."

"Kyuhyun may be perceptive of the feelings of others', but he's oblivious to his own. He's a mess; just like me," Sungmin let out another sigh, and rubbed his face tiredly.

Slowly, Sungmin's face lit up and he gave Ryeowook a teasing grin.

"I didn't know that my dear dongsaeng could ever manipulate situations for his own gain. Who knew someone so cute could be so sly?" Sungmin raised his eyebrows and laughed.

Ryeowook laughed along good-humouredly. "You're in no position to talk, Mr. Handcuffs." He shot back.

-

Kyuhyun opened the door, not bothering with knocking. As he entered the room, Yesung looked up wordlessly from his book and gave Kyuhyun a questioning look.

"What are you doing here?" Yesung asked.

Kyuhyun rolled his eyes good-naturedly. "Sungmin-hyung wanted to talk to Ryeowook-hyung privately. So here I am." He gestured towards himself.

"Oh. Right." Yesung laughed at himself. "Anyway, make yourself comfortable!" He pointed to the other bed, which was untouched. (But, of course, thought Kyuhyun.)

Kyuhyun settled himself on the bed and stared at his lap. He could feel Yesung's gaze on him, but he couldn't think of anything to say.

"You know," Yesung started. Kyuhyun's head jerked up in anticipation.

"I just realised that I haven't thanked you for helping me out with the whole me and Sungmin thing... Yeah, so thank you." Yesung smiled sincerely.

"Oh, that." Kyuhyun shrugged. "Anything for a hyung."

Yesung stood up and went over to Kyuhyun. Looking down at him, he clapped Kyuhyun on the shoulder.

"If you need me to return the favour, I'll be happy to help you. Just saying..." Yesung's tone was casual but Kyuhyun caught the knowing smile that flickered across his face.

Pushing his dignity aside (for he valued his sanity much more), Kyuhyun let out a growl of frustration before looking up at Yesung with half-pleading eyes.

"I need your help, hyung."

-

Ryeowook laid on his bed quietly. Sungmin had left a few minutes ago, content with Ryeowook's promise that he would stop playing with Kyuhyun."Even if you're ready to hear Kyuhyun's confession, it doesn't mean that Kyuhyun himself is ready to confess to you. You can't rush these kind of things."

Ryeowook rolled onto his back and covered his eyes with his hands.

When will that be?

His ears perked up when he heard shuffled footsteps in the room. Removing his hands, he found Kyuhyun staring down at him, an unreadable expression on his face.

"Goodness!" Ryeowook jerked up immediately. Clutching his pajama shirt, he shot Kyuhyun a reproachful look.

"Are you trying to give me a heart attack?" Ryeowook said shakily.

Kyuhyun's lip curled up into a grin. "Maybe."

Kyuhyun sat down next to Ryeowook on the bed. Uncomfortable with the proximity, Ryeowook shifted away nervously.

"What's wrong, hyung?" Kyuhyun asked innocently. He placed a hand on Ryeowook's thigh and moved even closer. Ryeowook was practically on the verge of hyperventilating.

Ryeowook froze when he felt a soft hand on his face. The hand grasped his chin and turned his face towards its owner.

"Hyung," Kyuhyun stared into Ryeowook's eyes. "I need to tell you something."

Then, Kyuhyun shook his head and smiled. "You know what? Fuck formalities."

He crashed his lips onto Ryeowook's. Pushing him down onto the bed, Kyuhyun pinned Ryeowook's hands over his head. The thinner boy hardly put up a struggle; he was too shocked to even move.

Kyuhyun's kissing me. Kyuhyun's kissing me. KYUHYUN'S KISSING ME.

When Ryeowook felt Kyuhyun's tongue on his lips, he snapped back to life. Opening his mouth willingly, Ryeowook let out a soft groan as Kyuhyun's tongue roamed his mouth.

Kyuhyun pulled away slowly and wiped his lips. He chuckled when Ryeowook let out a whimper.

"In case you haven't gotten it: I like you, hyung. I like you a hell lot."

"I promise that I'll always be there for you. Please be my boyfriend."

Ryeowook responded by pulling Kyuhyun in for another kiss.

-

"I wonder how our maknaes are doing right now," Sungmin thought aloud, tracing circles onto Yesung's chest.

"They're probably making out," Yesung hazarded a guess.

Sungmin made a face. "What exactly did you tell Kyuhyun?"

"Just that being direct is the best way."

Sungmin scoffed and rolled his eyes. "You''re one to talk; I was the one who confessed first!"

Yesung shrugged. "What matters is that we got together in the end right?"

"Anyway," Yesung continued, pulling against the handcuffs. "Why the hell are we talking about Ryeowook's and Kyuhyun's bedroom activities?"

Sungmin's hand moved from Yesung's chest to his face. Pressing onto his philtrum, he teased, "Aw, is my Jongwoon all jealous?"

Yesung snorted in disbelief. "Hardly. You wouldn't like it if I turned you on and started to talk about something irrelevant."

"Silly Jongwoon; the only bedroom activity that matters to me is ours," Sungmin breathed into Yesung's ear.

A/N: Second fic finished! Yay!

I'm really sorry that this part is especially draggy; I have this tendency to include everyone in the fic. Still, I think Shindong, Kangin and Han Geng appeared too little.

If you have anything to say, please leave a comment. (:

I'm going to travel extensively for the next two weeks (haw haw), so yeah, I won't be updating any new fics. I need a few days to recover from climbing a mountain. ;A;
