Okay, although it already happened last year in September, I'm still so bummed out about it: Arashi Blast in Hawaii. Why? Because I live in California and Hawaii is like 1,000something miles away. I could have went to experience my first Arashi concert, but my parents wouldn't let me and I couldn't afford it in the first place. Even now, this still ( Read more... )

aw! *hugs*

why why! don't quit the fandom! really I think there's more to the boys than just their concerts and dvds, though I do wish to hope to attend one of their concerts someday... never been to one either. Aw why can't you download? Do you watch their varieties? Their varieties are the gems!

Oh, yeah I decided on not quitting already tho haha because I realized I can't live without them XD
Yeah, I know that there's more to them than concerts and dvds. I can't download because my internet sucks and my computer sucks, and if I download too much my internet would stop working. I haven't been watching any of their varieties at all and I miss watching them~~~~~. I just recently download an AnS episode (1.10.15), but I haven't gotten around to watching it yet.

aw that sucks! :(
Their shows are really lovely. Love their dockiness. Oh have you heard of the comm Arashi_bangumi? People do reviews of their shows there, I did some reviews too... so you can have an idea of what happened in the shows without having to download... :P I'm not too sure about the rest, but I used to put so many screenshots, that people say it's as if they were watching the show. Then again, because there's so many screenshots, I'm not sure if your computer will have trouble loading it.

Yeah, ikr. When I get a better internet and more computer storage, I will definitely download them and convert them into DVDs so I don't have to keep it in my computer.
Oh yes, I've heard of it. I think I may have read a few. But I do like watching them instead because I'm still trying to learn Japanese (for 7 years now LOL b/c I'm an on and off learner. I think it's cuz I'm lazy tbh). My computer doesn't have trouble loading it. It actually depends on my internet speed XD

i can't say anything, since you were still in teeneger (i mean still in school era).

i think you would probably having different point of view regarding to this. when you were an adultery age (work/office and so).
when you have 5/7 days for work, full time working, free time on weekend.
no Long Holidays like school.

all you have to just do as (act) like your age now.
having school, saving money for future (is GREAT).

i hope it will help you,
can you imagine i have to saving for my wedding, my other financial cost, and i should spend for the DVD Hawaii Blast? :D

Yes, I do try to act my age but it's difficult because it's not that easy to change my lifestyle as of now because I'm still building up to it. Oh, and I understand because my mother who works two jobs barely have time for us and we can't even go out and have fun, even if it's summer. So, yeah I understand thank you :D And yes, I am saving money right now :D Oh man that's a lot! but the best of luck to you :D

Oh bb, *hugs*
It's quite normal to feel that way, but don't quit!
In the near future, you will definitely get the chance to see them in person and in concert. I've been a fan since 2009, I just actually got to watch them live last November, and it was very, very unexpected. My friend joined the ballot for tickets for the first time last year, and he was very lucky to be picked (together with me. hihi~) I actually live in Asia, and very near Japan, but since Japan is a very expensive country, I really couldn't just go there and visit and hope that I will be able to get tickets to their concert. I'm sure someday you will be able to fulfill your dream. In God's perfect time :) You may never know the next time they will have their concert in Hawaii you will already have the capability to watch them there.

Oh you're lucky! Yeah that's why I want to go to Japan and I would have benefits because I actually have relatives living there. I am hoping for the day they come back to Hawaii haha.

Arg... Yeah... It's frustrating..
Also the balance between the school and the fandom it's hard.. But you know it's not only the fandom, it's many friends you have now who keeps you enjoying the blabla Arashi ^^
I mean, without some persons I know thanks to Arashi, I would have left the fandom there a long time ago.
I wish you to go at a concert! *Hug*
XOXO

Ps : Fuck the school! The Uni!!! ALLLL ;____;

Yeah, it's very hard to balance. That's why during my last two years in high school, I had to take a break from my fandom, which is also why I stopped writing. And yes! Arashi totally changed my life that is why I'm not quitting the fandom, because without them I wouldn't be the person I am now: weird, joyful, and grateful :D

PS: Urgh I agree haha

Hi! It's normal to burn out on a fandom when real life takes so much of your time. I've heard that so many times. At least your young....you have time to accomplish these goals. My sister and I are in our early 50's but I did something during that anniversary tour that I have never done before....I got on a plane. Not only on a plane but left the main land! Went to Hawaii with my sister and her family and went to both concerts! I guess I should say two concerts and three rehearsals because we could hear and see them from the walking path of the hotel. We knew this would probably be our last chance to see them live anywhere. Even now we are saving up to go to Japan or their next anniversary in Hawaii in five years. We'll, I only hope I'm not in the DVD when it comes out(went on sale last night) because they stuck a camera in my face while I was trying to watch.....omg.....I probably looked terrible. Lol. Take care and get your life in the right direction. If we see your stories we will be happy little fandom readers indeed! : )

Hello! Yes, it does that's why during my last two years in high school I had to take a break from it because I was being literally burned out and it's also the reason why I stopped writing for those two years. But wow, you're lucky and it must have been really nice to know that they were there with you hehe! that's a great feat. How was the plane like for the first time? Are you planning on going to Japan? Hehe when I download it, I might just see it. Aww thanks! I do enjoy making other people happy :D

Well, my brother in law travels by plane plot so he kept us from getting lost. But we only had one plane switching from Florida and that was in Atlanta. The ride itself was better than I thought....I had the seat on the aisle both times and the movies were very entertaining. They also had computer games and I know my sister got hooked on some of them. Lol! Everyone kept saying how bad it was going to be but I liked it. We went to the mall where Arashi stuff was being sold and didn't have that long of a line. I also tried for the first time melon bread (which is suppose to be Nino's favorite) .....OMG it was sooooo good! They had banners of huge pictures of them hanging all over the mall. We now know they were staying in Waikiki but we changed our hotel from there to the one near the concert.....too much traffic. It was so picturesque (Jun is so good at finding these places for the concert) and even though I was there both nights......I can't remember what all happened! Guess I was so in awe of actually seeing them that my mind went ( ... )

Ooh what movies were being played. and what? Computer games? I'm sorry, I don't know much about planes anymore because the only one I've ridden was 12 years ago when I moved from Philippines to America. Oooh man if my uncle was still in Hawaii I woulda asked him to buy me stuffs haha. Oh yes, I've also tried melon bread before and omg I got addicted for a whole month, buying it from my Japanese teacher haha. Were you able to take photos? And yes, Jun is really perceptive. Although I've never went to a concert, I know how that feels LOL because I would feel the same and be like what happened? the next day. How was the arashi concert though?
