I started crying the minute she pulled that book out, and didn't stop until the episode ended. I also quoted along with her while she was reading. Through my tears. It was like I was drowning in Tolkien-SPN-Charlie feels.
I just got a nice copy of LotR and I think I might read it again soon. I was going to save rereading the Hobbit until after the movies are all out, but I don't think I can wait that long. They've been giving me feelings lately, and this is not helping. ;___;
I knew who the baddie was by the way they reacted to Charlie coming in the room. They way they closed the file as quick as they did I knew then and then "There's your bad evil for this week." lol
I also loved the "this is why we can't have nice things" line, it was hysterical, but did you notice, neither of them moved to clean it up.
Eeeeh, I'm not really the tin-hat kind of shipper. It was an adorable line and I love that she mentioned (and liked) Cas, but I saw no such undertones.
