The first episode of the Supernatural anime is available for streaming here, if you have a Japanese IP address. I highly approve of it! Now I'm even more curious about this :x
And it will be good to see the boys light and happy again, the series's got pretty dark and depressive after 4th season D:

Yep! I don't have the words to describe it, but it's definitely the style I was hoping for.
Though there is some cute banter and whatnot, it's pretty dark with the anime-style horror.
