Iphigenia has really been quite content these past few weeks. Although she er, effectively lives in an attic, she's happy to be with her...lover? boyfriend? Abductor? We're not sure what exactly to call him. Anyway, she's pretty pleased

Steerpike has noticed that his, hm, minion? associate? whatever you'd call him is missing, and that bothers him - at least on a practical level.

He's coming - to make sure his favorite bedwarmer is still where she should be, probably...

But with Steerpike, you never know. He pokes his head in, then.

"My love?"

She looks up from her reading, smiling. "Oh, hello!"

He smiles, looking quite pleased to see her. "Have you been well?"

And comes over to kiss her hand.

She giggles a little when he kisses her hand, and might reach to kiss him on the cheek. "Oh, I've been very well, thank you!" she replies cheerily.
