wipe & reinstall seems a success. am fiddling with things, changing the way i use the os. just a wee bit. did end up reinstalling cs5, but only photoshop, with the bare minimum of extras. everything seems to be running smoothly.

installed office 2011. i like it very much. pretty. i dislike the new msn messenger; will be sticking

I have trouble with rl friends, too. I have some trust issues after some of the crap I went through as a kid... It's really good that you're taking steps to get past the fear!!
