*cries and hugs Jack*

I'm glad that Ianto managed to find some trace of him, but what kind of state will Jack be in when he is found?

I just can't give poor Jack a break.

Oh, no! Poor Jack!

Ianto is going to have a LOT to answer for. Not as much as the Doctor, but Ianto's the one who drove Jack out and just as the Doctor left him behind, Ianto's the one who pushed Jack into being this vulnerable.

Can't wait for the next one!

Thanks for writing!

Poor Ianto. He's getting a lot of blame. But he never intended to hurt Jack. It was mostly a lack of communication, which afflicts many people.

True, but he couldn't have handled it in a worse way if he'd tried.

Yes, but Jack jumped to a lot of conclusions e.g. Jack believes Ianto doesn't love him, which is not correct. Jack's previous history of course made it hard for him not to assume the worst.

You're right, it has expanded as I've been filling out the final story arc (the London/Master arc). It is now 35 chapters (including the epilogue). I think that is the final count.

I tried to give Jack comfort, I really did, but I find it much easier to write angst. But remember I did promise Jack a happy ending and I haven't changed my mind.

Saxon's a nasty pervert. Hmmm. At least he doesn't seem to know about Martha. But he does know Sarah Jane, Jo, the Brig, all the other people still alive. I always wondered why he didn't target them. No budget I guess to bring people back.

Poor Jack; and Saxon heads UNIT.

Saxon must know about Martha. He knows everything Jack knows from combing through his memories. But he will realise that Martha hasn't travelled with the Doctor yet so it could screw up the timelines to target her. She wasn't with the Doctor on Malcassairo but events could have been different if she hadn't been a companion. The Master wouldn't be sure the Doctor would still make it to the end of the universe if he changed things.

He must also know about Torchwood and Ianto. But in the actual series The Master knew about them and did nothing until he was ready to make his final move.

For Jack, I think the Master being interested in him sexually rather than in torturing him to death over and over would be preferable.

Brilliant, as always.
Poor Jack. He never gets a break. Huggles for him.
Also, I may be mistaken, but I don't think you linked this from the last chapter.
More, more!!! :]
