I think the Queen breathing down their necks is exactly what UNIT needs. They've gotten away with far too much for far too long with no one holding them accountable. I hope she's able to follow through with what she said. I can't imagine that will be an easy undertaking, even for the Queen.

Jack getting that job must have given his self-confidence a boost. I had to laugh at him crossing off the taxi driver job. He's right. His driving would probably scare the hell out of his customers. It's too bad he has to worry about his criminal record. It would be a great relief to him if the Queen could just erase the whole thing. He shouldn't have that hanging over his head after he was cleared of wrongdoing.

Yes, the Queen in this story is BAMF. Not that realistic of course, as some have commented, but I like her this way.

Oh, the Queen is going to have some seriously nasty 'fun' with UNIT! I'm glad she's finding out what's being done in her name but I suspect UNIT will manage to hide some abuses. I just hope she finds out how far their nastiness really goes. Jack's new career should give him the much needed respite as far from his Torchwood life as possible. You've really written a difficult but wonderful story here!
