That was very strong! And quite unexpected. I was surprised that Jack choose that moment to confront the Doctor. I half expected the Master to go to Utopia where the Doctor was trapped. I just assumed that The Master checked before and realised that it was safe,that it didn't change anything and the Doctor is still going to end up at the end of the universe, which is necessary for the integrity of the timelines (so he could take the Tardis

When it first aired I spent the whole of the episode Christmas Invasion waiting for the Doctor or Rose to mention Jack, and they never did. Instead they had a party. I was infuriated. That's why I picked that moment for Jack to find the Doctor.

I have not forgotten Martha and the Doctor on Malcassairo, though. I'll come back to them in the epilogue.

Jack has partially reverted to his conman type days at the end of this chapter. But he is still a good person at heart, not evil. He will not be a killer (except for the Doctor). And though he may be bad (the sort who would steal the Koh-i-noor diamond, for example), and who might enjoy being treated like a god for a while, he would not go along with the Master if he wants to start killing and enslaving populations of planets. I think he will be a good influence on the Master. The Master in this story hasn't even started to try and enslave anyone.

As you can probably tell I was totally infuriated by The Christmas Invasion. I waited the whole episode for them to mention Jack and they never did. Then they had a party!!! Unbelievable.
