please explain how one folds a t-shirt using a clipboard.

you use the clipboard as a straight edge to make nice crisp corners. first you lay the tee shirt face down on a flat surface, then place the clipboard in the center of the shirt, closer to the collar. you fold the shirt over the clipboard starting with one sleeve, then fold the sleeve over the folded part of the tee shirt. reposition the clipboard so it's on top of the just-folded half, & fold the other half of the shirt the same way. reposition the clipboard again so that you can fold the hem up to the collar over the edge of the clipboard. this is easier to teach when you can see me.
